just got an ipaq h4350 and i have some newbie questions. sorry if i sound brief but im posting this from the ipaq and im still learning to use this keyboard

1 is there any way to "lock" the number pad down so i can type multiple numbers without having to hit the function key every time?

2 memory. i dont get how it works really. supposedly i have 64/32 but what does that even mean under normal usage enironment? like at the moment i have almost used most of my space with programs and stuff. if i buy an sd card can i install programs onto it? or can you only install programs onto your main memory area? are there any sites that explain the basics of this stuff for ppl like me?

3 how can i alt tab without using itask? is there a keyboard shortcut?

4 is there a cut & paste shortcut? sometimes programs havent got the tap and hold menu available

5 can anyone recommend some good noob sites for me?

thanks a bunch!

Yes, you can install programs onto SD. I have a 256mb and it works wonderfully.

Are you sure you cannot CTRL + V on the keyboard? My HP Foldable keyboard for my 2215 works with CTRL + V and C

No, I havent found a way for ALT TAB, the keyboard shortcut does not work. PHM Powertoys may or may not help.

Man, I wish there was some way of doing this as well but I haven't found any way as of yet. It drives me crazy when I am doing my time sheets :ninja:

1 I use wordlogic keyboard. It's way faster and more intuitive than the windows keyboard. You can get a demo here: http://www.wordlogic.net/index2.html

2 The more free program/storage memory you have, the smoother your machine runs. Installing programs to your storage card is a great idea so long as they're not the type that really push the limits of your machine. I keep mp3s, word docs and a few basic programs on there like CE converter and MS streets.

3 You can use Wisbar and in setup choose to show running program icons. It works great. Wisbar also closes programs when you click on the (x) button, giving you more free memory. The windows taskbar only minimizes them.

4 Besides highlighting the text and holding, which is what I think you mentioned, I don't know of anything else.

5 You're at the best PPC site of all. I also go to pocketpcpassion.com, Pocketgammer.com and
