Hp5455 Msn messenger ??

:evil: I have a Hp5455 2003 all updates. I can't get Messenger to work. It keeps saying "login or password incorrect", then I use the same log in on my pc and voila - works. I've tried rolling it back to pc 2002, all the updates then 2003, nothing. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I will ask the question ... did that include the Windows Messenger update for Pocket PC's??

MS made a change last year and you had to apply this patch for it to work on your handheld.

Did you log out on the PC before connecting with the PPC?

I had/have the same problem with my 1935 and with my new 4150. (a few days old!!!)

I too posted looking for advice - with no satisfactory answers. I came to the conclusion that the problem was a conflict with another piece of installed software.

How did I come to this conclusion? I performed a hard reset and then applied the PPC patch - and then MSN Messenger worked! But - once I started reinstallng the rest of my software, it stopped working again.

In the end, I just gave up and installed ICQ - which works great!
