What the heck happened to MS Money for Pocket PC? How come there is no upgrade available? When I try to install Money for PPC on my h4150, I get an error message telling me that it is only for devices running Pocket PC 2002 - did I miss something? I need to be able to sync information with my desktop version!!

What can I do? Any ideas what's going on???
Thanks!

K.

I couldn't believe it either. I needed to update my desktop version anyway, so I converted over to Quicken and Pocket Quicken. I like them both, but it wasn't cheap to convert over!

There are two ways to solve this:

1. Upgrade to Money 2004.

2. See the instructions here: http://www.ppczone.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=4916

So MS Money 2004 comes with a pocket pc version that works for PPC 2003? Just making sure. I do like MS Money, and I guess an upgrade wouldn't be a bad idea, but only if I have to. :)

Actually, *some* people have reported success with Pocket Money 2004 and desktop Money 2003. Pocket Money 2004 is a free download.

I have Money 2002 on my Desktop working with Pocket Money 2004. I needed to install Pocket Mone first, then run the installer for Pocket Money 2002, which I let run through the entire process, but when it asks me on my device if I want to upgrade, I say No.

From what I can gather, this basically installs the 2004 client on the PPC, but the 2002 sync conduit. I think they just put a check into the 2004 installer as a way to make you upgrade because this solution is working fine for me.

I had the same problem. Had Money 2002 on the desktop and installed the PPC money 2004 version onto my 1945 (free download from the MS site). It did not work  so I upgraded to Money 2004. Could have used JR's advice :? However, there are numerous rebates available at the moment for Money 2004 when you purchase certain Tax software.

I've switched to using Cash Organiser with their Money Sync, which works a treat!

Is this the app that requires another $20 or something for the ability to sync? I just can't justify that expense.
