Hi, Can you help a fellow PPC owner! I’m in the last year of my degree and as a supplement to my major study I need to find out about how PDA and smartphone owners use their devices.

Could you follow the link below and answer 6 questions, this is a genuine final year study and you would be helping me put together a good dissertation.

Thanking you in advance

I use Pocket informant on my PPC and Outlook on the Computer to organize my notes. I use the Company Field to create a master note and then the note field to keep my notes. PI has a time and date stamp so you can record when you took the note which helps to create a timeline of events. In Outlook (which automatically syncs with PI) I have an extensive list of catagories and can assign the notes to different sub-fields (i.e. bills, personal, type of customer, etc). I also use the contacts field if a contact (note) relates to another contact. I have over 600 contacts catagorized this way and it works great. Though I haven't used it much, Pocket Informant has extensive filtering tools which can assist you in finding data. Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply mmainello and thanks to everybody else who has answered my questionnaire so far too, I've had a good response already!

Alot of people just mainly use PDA's for personal organisation, do you think that all the extra things that are possible are just for gadget geeks? or can you see the market for PDAs opening up into the entertainment market (for example) too?
