After seeing reports of sd cards coming in at the GB mark, for me, cf cards are still the way to go. Don't get me wrong, I love the sd/mmc's small size, but the cost would kill me! You can get multiple GB cf for the price of a single GB sd card. Yea, you pay a premium for the smaller size but it's not worth it to me.

JMHO, tis all :)

Unfortunately, the selection of PDAs with a CF slot is slim compared to the ever increasing SD support.

Toshiba still knows that dual slots is where it's at, hopefully, when new VGA devices come out in Spring/Summer (I hope) there will still be models with dual. I like having the 2 slots because you install apps and file store on an SD card and keep media on the CF, that is the best way. Especially with 4 GB MicroDrives. I just need $200. :-(

I agree, two slots are excellent.

However, I think reading from the CF cards is slower - wma's stored on my 512Mb CF card sometimes skip (just like vinyl!) whereas wma's played from my SD card don't.

Dual slots are a must-have for me. As for speed, SD cards are slightly slower than CF, in my experience. I've been using a SanDisk 256MB SD and SanDisk 256MB CF card in my iPAQ 2215 for nearly 6 months and both have worked flawlessly.

I have to jump on this bandwagon too, I love my 2215 with two slots, and when I replace it this summer/fall it will be for another PDA with two slots (again SD & CF). It is a dealbreaker requirement for me.
