Media Encoder Problme like Jaredw

My video in Windows Media Encoder is Green and Purple. I know JaredW had the same problem, and it seemed he fixed it. How do I fix this problem? I have ATI Radeon 8500dv for a capture card, and I'm running Windows XP.

If you had the same problem that I did, I suggest playing around with the pixel properties and seeing which one works. Try encoding with each one -- even if it gives you an error message when you select it.

Other than that, I have no idea. I'm glad it ended up working for me, but still don't quite understand why I had the problem in the first place.

If you are talking about streaming video through the Windows Media Encoder... then what you need to do is in the properties/processing... change the default Pixel setting to "UYVY"..

That should do it...
