According to Daron, the biggest improvements are dealing with speed, data management and user interface. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this!

wonder how much the upgrade will cost.......I'd like this upgrade..or do we still get 25% off for being a PPCT member?

Alex has traditionally been very reasonable with upgrade pricing... at least I've always thought so. I'm sure that you'll find it to be fair.

Outlook 2003 has a place for photos in the contacts. Will PI 5 sync those?

I doubt it will but that would be great if it did!

No, it won't. That is not because PI5.0 wouldn't want to but it is simply not supported by AS 3.7 nor PPC2003.
It will - most likely - be possible with PPC2004 and any higher AS version that works with PPC2004 then...

What does "clear focus when checking off tasks" mean, feature-wise?

Can't wait for PI either :) I'm looking forward to a free upgrade coz i bought 4.1 only recently... hehehe but i was looking forward to v5 before i purchased v4. I love the cool things they do to improve an already awesome product! :)

Upgrades are free if you purchased after October 15th (i think) and usually half rrp if you're upgrading from a previous version. Either way, worth the cash. And if you have the 50% family/friends discount....... even better!

I suspect that when you clear a task, the focus is still on said task it is just now gray, or it is on the task above/below if you have it set to hide cleared tasks. By clearing the focus, there would be no focus after checking it off.

Not sure in this case what the usability advantage is unless status indicators are changing based on whether you have the focus, giving details about that task, or not, giving details about the entire task list.

Anyone know if any voice recognition/speech features will be included with 5.0?
