This eBay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3072240437&category=38331) seems to think that this HP iPaq 1910 has a faster processor at 400MHz.

Now, if I am not mistake, I was darn sure that it only had a 200MHz processor. They are also selling it with a:

One of the great things about this 1910 is it has the newest PXA255 Intel X-Scale proccessor, so it has better performance and battery life than the older 1910s with the PXA250 processors!! It is running at 400MHz and is comparable with iPAQ 1945s with screen quality, CPU speed, usage and battery life!

Standard Features:

Processor- 400MHz PXA255 Intel® XScale™ technology-based processor-This is the newest processor available, most 1910s come with PXA250 processors.
Newest XScale proccessor!
Much better battery life compared to the more common older PXA250 processor

edit: This is stupid and Im glad no one is buying this BS. (happy janak?)

What is funny that no one is buying this BS - lol
How's that funny, if I may ask?

My guess is that if someone were to press the guy, he'd claim you could overclock it to 400MHz.

What else was I going to say?

But he does mention in the auction that it comes with XPUScalar. But, it isnt a new more efficient processor as he claims. You arent allowed to post false things on eBay.

Just "stupid", or "interesting", or...

Bingo -- so his unit might run at 400MHz. Re efficiency, the PXA255 is a bit more efficient than the PXA250 -- in particular, it has a writeback cache, which the PXA250 had turned off due to bugs in the chip. Nevertheless, I agree that he's doing false marketing.

Just wondering when HP started to include XCPUScalar with their Ipaqs? I wonder what ImmierSoft the developer of XCPUScalar will think when he realizes someone is selling a version of his software when the new owner wants a reg code that works.
