Hi, I have a brand new Toshiba e350 that came loaded with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. But I would also like to be able to use MS Access and Powerpoint on my PPC, or at least be able to read and edit the files. Any suggestions?

For both these apps, you need to rely on third parties. For MS-Access, I believe you can use apps such as VisualCE, Pocket Database etc I have not tried any of them though.

For viewing Powerpoint presentations, I use a software called ClearVue Office Suite. This provides facilities for viewing all the MS-Office files in their native format without conversion.

Thank you, Danesh, I appreciate your taking the time to respond to my query. I will check out that software.

My personal preference for PowerPoint tools is PocketSlides from Conduits. The fact that it uses all of the animations and builds that the desktop version uses makes it great for practicing my presentations while traveling, or even giving the presentation directly from my Pocket PC.

Thanks, Brad. I'll check that out, too.

For a truly robust word editor (and now excel) look at the softmaker products. Textmaker and planmaker are awesome.
