<a href="http://www.pocketpcmag.com/newsl_NPR/editorspicks.asp">http://www.pocketpcmag.com/newsl_NPR/editorspicks.asp</a><br /><br />Pocket PC Magazine editors have picked 8 of their favorite accessories to be used with the Pocket PC. The Sprint PCS Connection card is shown below.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/hansberry/2004/20040123-sprintpcscard.jpg" /><br /><br />What is your favorite accessory? I'd have to say that mine, right now, is my <a href="http://www.socketcom.com/product/WL6000-320.asp">Socket Communications CF Wireless LAN Card</a>.

Considering the damage on the outside of it, my Innopocket Aluminum Case would have to win. I can only imagine what my Axim would look like if it weren't inside of that case.

Oy! 8O

Mine, by far is my Targus IR Keyboard (which PPC Mag also chose). It works with most of my PPC's and my Palm T3. (however, it won't work with my Samsung i700, due to some proprietary Serial Port issues that I didn't find out about until AFTER I bought the phone...)

My next choice is my SanDisk SD Wi-Fi Card, which works with all of my PDA's... or WILL when SanDisk gets off its butt and releases their (vaporware) Palm Drivers...

Kind Regards,

Christopher Spera

I think of my various battery packs, auto chargers, and AC chargers as more of a life support system than accessories, and my iPaq has WiFi built in, so I guess it's a tie between my long-awaited Sprint Bluetooth phone and my Fortuna GPSmart bluetooth GPS receiver.

Next I think I'd like to have a camera that fits an SD slot, although it doesn't seem very convenient to have to take out my storage card, insert the camera card, take pictures, remove the camera, reinsert the storage card, and then move the pictures from main memory to storage card. I wish the next generation iPaq would have a second SD slot.

Since the 55xx has built in Wifi, I'd have to say the old Silver Slider 5 is the best....or certainly the one that gets the most use by far. Bluetooth GPS is prolly the most fun.

IF I was still working with the 38xx iPAQ, then I would have voted for the Symbol Technologies CF WiFi card (which now resides in, and provides WiFi capabilities for, an HP laptop pc).

First would be my Jornada's flip-up screen cover. Next would be my Symbol CF Wi-Fi card.

Due to my careless nature, I'd have to say my beat up and battered Proporta AL case(just dropped my device 2ft when i went into the john 5min. ago)

Poor Hp 2210

I'm awaiting my next victim, ahem...case, the titanium case!

Definitely another vote for the Convergent Tech CF GPRS card is warranted, if only to note that it provides (cable free) internet access for both my PPC and my Tablet PC (no need for bluetooth here). :D

Same here! Though I'm curious to try out this case (http://www.activearmor.com/iPAQ2200.htm) (which I just submitted as a news item).

I'm not sure about that one. I saw a review of it somewhere, but I'm kinda curious as to what kind of protection it would give with almost the entire back of the unit exposed...

I think the Innopocket case has basically convinced me to get an aluminum case for any handheld I get from now on...

I'm obviously biased (we manufacture it), but my favorite Pocket PC accessory is our PDAudio-CF card. It lets me record hours of live music at 24/96 linear PCM audio using an iPAQ.
