Does anyone know of a program for the pocket pc that will actually read the text to you? I know that the Microsoft Reader for the desktop will read the text to you albeit in a computer voice. Is there a way to get the pocket pc to do that? It doesn't have to be in any particular format, I don't care if it's Micorsoft Reader or Palm Reader, etc. If it reads from a simple text file is fine with me. What I'm after is something that will read to me while I'm walking or riding in the car. I have a few audio books but I'm looking for a solution that will read to me and I think the technology is at least feasible. For example, the Microsoft Voice Command will read my appointments to me so I'm assuming it could do more... Any ideas or am I asking too much of the current technology?

Thanks,
Kevin

I can't speak from personal experience, but you may want to investigate these:
Fonix iSpeak (http://www.fonix.com/page.cfm?name=product_ispeak_for_pocket_pc&ID=10)
Scansoft PDsay (http://www.scansoft.com/pdsay/)

The Fonix iSpeak works really well. It reads text and emails well. Now, I have to figure out how to save my .lit and Palm ebooks as text. I'm not sure if/how that can be done but this is a great start, just what I was looking for. Thanks!
