Ok, here we go again.
Now when I recieve an e-mail with a picture as an attachment, all I get is a black screen when i click on the attachment.
Yesterday everything worked great.
What did I do wrong??

If I ASS-U-ME correctly that your PPC uses PIE to display pictures then you probably turned off the display of pictures in PIE. If this is the case (you can tell by looking at the TOOLBAR - If viewing grapics "Hide Pictures" is highlighted/selected then you have turned off the viewing of pictures). Simply click on the "Hide Pictures" toolbar button (the one on the far right) to reactivate the viewing of graphics.

First, I apologize for not explaining what unit that I have.
Please remember that I am new to this.
I have an iPAQ 2215,
I do not know what PIE is, and I don't see anything that says "hide pictures"

and you only see "Hide Pictures" if you press and hold on the right-most toolbar button.

Across the bottom of the screen I have "File" "Edit" "View" and "Show" buttons.
If i push the "Show" button, I get a pop up that has "View Show","Set up Show","Preferences",and "hide image"
The "Hide Image" is greyed out and nothing happens when I push it.

I did a soft reset, and now everything works again.
Whoda thunk it! ! ! !
I told ya I was new at this.

You just figured out one of the most common fixes for those strange issues.A soft reset is pretty much the de facto first step in troubleshooting for me.

Glad that all is well now! 8)

well maybe you can help me with this one.
I just bought and downloaded the onspot software.
But it will not come up on my hand held.
