Nice case. But I think it might be a bit expensive for the average 1900 owner - with S&H, it's more then half of what I paid for the Ipaq itself 8O

I used a proporta case and it suited the Ipaq just fine. Such a shame I dropped it after only a month and a half  Broke the case, but the Ipaq survived just fine. Now I use a Krusell leather case, which is easier to carry because of the beltclip.

Am I the only one who gets frustrated at the fact that most places (even on the manufacturers own websites) there are not enough pictures of the cases and the descriptions while flavorful do not convey everything that each type of case has working for/against it.

I remember when I was looking through my tons of PocketPC carrying case reviews trying to determine which one was best just to finally put up the top names and do an enie mini miny mo to see who won.

(BTW in case your wondering Piel Frama won out but even they have a slim to almost non existant selection of display pictures)

I think there should be a required set of shots I for one would love to see -
1) Close up of the Clip to holder connection (if it has a clip)
2) Close up of the hinged area (or flap if its a fold over)
3) Fully open shot. (to show any other expansion items)
4) Closed shot.
5) Back shot. (to see if it has to correct holes for anything Like speakers)
6) Top shot.
7) Bottom shot. (to show if the charge/sync connection is covered)

Also manufacturers should not be afraid to put on their web page a simple thing like "This will not sync or charge in most cradles" on their page. If all the other parts of the case are good then people will still buy it.

Well it is kinda expensive, but if you pre-order you'll find that they are $69 - the iPAQ 2200 model is listed on the site currently for this price.

:? $69 i still hard to swallow, but its still cheaper, and afford better protection than a Vaja case..........

Hope to get one, I have a Propoarta AL case, almost a clone of the Innopocket one, but no belt clip, I'm looking forward to a belt clip!

I would buy one (in fact I just cancelled my order) but, once again MobilePlanet does not have stock and cannot ship.

This isn't the first time MP has advertised merchandise and accepted orders that they do not have in stock, cannot ship, and cannot provide an ETA. It is the last time I attempt to place an order with them, or approve any purchase requests for them (I'll stick with Vaja cases: they're both expensive, but Vaja is reputable and upfront about their shipment lead times.)

At first glance, I thought this was the case I just bought (http://www.saunders-usa.com/rhinoskin/prod.cfm?cat_id=5070&prod_id=5143) from RhinoSkin from the local brick-and-mortar Best Buy on sale for $25. It looks nearly identical, with the same features, but for a lot less. The stylus is recessed, yet intuitively easy to take out. The IR port is unimpeded and transfers are still as good as ever, the SD, hotsync, and headphone jacks are just as useful as without the case. The only reason to take the PDA out is if you need to press the reset button, but I prefer to just use a software reset anyway. My main quibble with the RhinoSkin case is the SD storage slot works well for SD memory cards, but not my Sandisk 802.11b card. I solved this with the use of a little black elastic and glue, and it suits my needs wonderfully, and on the same budget as someone who purchased a $200 PDA.

Wow, didn't realize I sounded like I was selling it. But hey, I found it while shopping at Best Buy, and I've been quite pleased with it.
