Deleting Titles

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the names of actors and producers during the first minutes of the movie. I have a huge english project to do and there is a clip of video in the movie The Rock which i would like to use from the very beginning but the names are in there and that would look very tacky. Anyone know of any programs such as virtualdub/gordonknot that might do the job? If anyone knows how, i would be much obliged! Thx in advanced

I doubt that there is any way of easily removing the titles. They are part of the actual file, and are not being applied during playback (I'm assuming that you're talking about a DVD, but it would be the same for VHS). Your options are to crop them off (if that's possible), or to go through and use a cloning tool on each frame you want to use to cover them up. If you just want a single frame, then using the cloning tool might be the way to go.

BTW, Gordian Knot is a codec pack. It wouldn't be of much use here.
