I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, but here it is.
On amazon.com there is a deal on the Viking 256MB CF card for $49.99 -$15 Mail-in rebate.
There is also a shipping guarantee. If you order withing the next 17 hours, as of now, and get 1 day shipping you will get the item on Wednsday of this week. I ordered the 2 day shipment method and its guaranteed to be here by thursday. Although thursday IS two days from now. I guess people are paying for them to process it faster. :lol:
The memory itself is pretty good in terms of speed (according to http://www.dpreview.com/articles/mediacompare/). It is, hewever, subject to the SanDisk curse (according to amximsite). After looking at their charts I suppose that you should hope that they fixed the issues or that you get the one that was made in Japan (as opposed to China). Although for $34.99 it still seems a good deal.
