Aaarrrggghhh! Synching problems...

I'm trying to sync our Axim 5s using AS3.7 and Outlook 2002. I keep getting a message that it can't sync because it can't find necessary information, and one that says it can't log on to the network. I don't have a network...I only have one desktop pc.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Did your X5 come with 3.5 or 3.7?

Can you sync as a "guest" instead of a regular partnership?

Have you tried re-installing ActiveStink (I mean, "Sync")?

Thanks, David...all is backed up...often. I figured out the problem...was a setting in Outlook 2002 that pointed the program to the correct start-up point. Apparently a new feature in Outlook 2002. Just about drove me nuts until I found it...now everything seems to sync pretty well, other than an occasional gitch with Pocket Quicken. I get a PQ20Conduit error sometimes.

While this may not help out in future sync'ing issues, it might make you feel slightly better...

I like to refer "Activesync" as ActiveStink, CraptiveStink and so on....
