I'm looking to spend around $200 on my first handheld, and WiFi or Bluetooth isn't necessary for me. I've narrowed it down to these 2 -- does anyone have any comments, experiences, pros/cons that would help me make a decision? Thanks for your help!!

I'm interested in the answer to that question, too

I have no experience with the Axim x3 , but I do own a iPAQ 1935 and I love it. I seem to recall a similar post a few weeks ago - but I can't locate it (try running a search). The vast majority of responses to the post were in favor of the 1935 though.

Nothing against Dell, but I think you'll find that there are alot more accessories available for the 1935 - both through the Net and via retailers as well.

Personally they are so similar I'd go with whatever you can get the better deal on.

But doesn't the X3 Basic only have 32 MB RAM? whereas the h1935 (which I have and love) has 64MB

All around the iPAQ is going to be better. You have choice of vendors to purchase, you'll have better support, and you'll have more after-market support in the way of keyboards, cases, battery extenders, etc.
