The area I live in is called the Tri-State region, because it's near Iowa and Minnesota and Wisconsin meet. (It's also called the Coulee Region, because of the landscape.) I'm curious how many other PPCT readers live in a Tri-* region.

I live in Dayton, Ohio. The tri-state is Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.

One of my favorite parts of the movie Toy Story (or maybe Toy Story 2) is when the commercial for Al's Toy Barn is on and there's a line about the "tri-county area".

Gotta love the tri-zones!

I'm on the line for the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill - NC) and the Triad (Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem-NC).

I have a tri-county area I travel in, although no one else thinks of it as such, but with names like Summit, Cuyahoga, and Medina, who would want to name it Tri-anything :(
