Does anyone know if there is hardware that will allow me to do a powerpoint presentation from my PPC to a projector or monitor.

I was thinking of something like a bluetooth module that could be attach to the projector.

Is there anything like this out there? and are there any reviews regarding a product like this?

Thanks for your help

I have seen discussions about this before, and if I remember correctly, there is not as of yet. The best bet would be to use your pocket pc to control Powerpointon a laptop over WiFi

I'm not sure about the specifics, but I think I remember one person posting and mentioning doing presentations with some sort of wireless on the projector, I believe it was a Toshiba, so you should check that out, I definately could be wrong though.

I asked if anyone had done it because my husband was reviewing a projector and his editor told him it should work with a PPC (but it didn't). But there weren't any other significant insights into PPCs and wireless projectors. Basically, you need a custom driver to control the projector, and I don't know if any of the projectors come with a PPC version of that driver yet.

I may have been out of the loop for a while, but the only way I have seen a PPC host powerpoint to a projector is with a VGA CF card or a FlyJacket for the iPAQ.

I have seen talk of soing it over WiFi or bluetooth, but have not come across any products that can accomplish it.

The closest I have come up with myself is the hp digital projector mp3130

I quess I was hoping for a module that I could carry with me and plug into the projector and controll it with my PPC.

Thanks for all your help, mabey this is something that they will look at doing? who knows.

have a look at www.corporatekeys.com for their IRMA devices - infrared & now bluetooth.

Except that site makes no mention of Pocket PCs newer than the Compaq iPaq 3850/3870, Casio Cassiopeia E-200 and HP Jornada 568/928 era. Which is to say that the info is rather old and consequently it may not work with PPC2003 devices, if that is what wigglesworth is using.

davidb67, this may be exactly what i am looking for! ctmagnus, right now I am using a HP Jornada 568, it will be interesting to see if it will work on PPC 2003 devices as I am looking at upgrading.
