I would like to play between 10-15 songs in a go while I am in my transit from home to work. What I do need help is getting Started.

1) Where do I store the songs - SD or CF?
2) Can I use ActiveSync to copy mp3s from my HD to the POCKETPC storage device
3) What is the best way to play MP3s on an IPAQ

Using IPAQ 22xx

Thanks

1. SD or CF would be fine. CF is slightly cheaper, but if you put them on an SD card, you leave the CF slot open for CF peripherals (ie. WiFi cards, etc.)

2. You can use Activesync, but it takes an eternity. You'd be better off buying a cheap flash card reader. Multi-format readers that can read memory stick, compact flash, sd, and smartmedia usually retail at about $25 and will save you tons of time if you plan on transferring songs regularly.

3. Of the programs I've tried, I prefer PocketMusic (http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusic.htm), and the extra money for the feature pack is worth it. There are plenty of other ways including using the built in MS Media Player, but there isn't an equalizer built in like most of the stand alone players.

Hope that helped!

I own pocket music with the feature pack and I like it, but I have been experiencing some weird behavior. Sometimes the song I am playing will skip. When I replay the song then it will play all the way through. Have anyone else found this to be a issue? I am thinking of trying some of the free players or even the WM player to see if the issue still exists.
