My kids got Simon² at my wife's family Christmas get together last weekend. Oh the blips and noise.... :|

I remember Simon Says and Simon as very different games. Simon Says is as 'low tech' as they come, but it is still very popular with the preschool / kindergarten / first grade crowd. Simon tries to trick the group into doing something that hasn't been prefaced with the words 'Simon Says'.

Simon is the electronic match the color sequence game . . .

That was a fun trip down a little bit of memory lane. Thanks for reminding me of both games!

My brother has a Simon. It's pretty much been banned inside the house. They couldn't make it much more annoying if they tried. 8O
