Hi all,
I have a question about a SS2 which I currently own: the item was made by PDAMotion and when inserted into the iPAQ 5450, the iPaq recognize the SS2 (shown in "Expansion Pack" applet under "Settings", animated progress bar, etc.). However, no memory card or CF peripherals (such as GPS) is recognized when inserted. i.e. with memory card, the iPAQ reported that an unknown memory card is inserted and asked for a driver.
However, all of the above are recognized when used with a PCMCIA Sleeve and normal CF sleeve, so it is the SS2 that's having problem.
The question that I have is: have you ever encountered a case where the SS2 OR a normal sleeve is recognized by the iPAQ, but no CF accessories can be used, including CF memory? It is kind of puzzling that it does that and I am tempted to open it up and fix it myself.
