HELP! Settings Problem

All of the sudden I am getting a "Cannot Connect" pop-up that says:
unable to connect: you have no modem entries created, and no network card present.

I keep trying to dismiss the pop-up, but it keeps coming back up.

Any suggestions?

Do you have pocket inbox set to automatically check your email every few minutes?

I don't think I do. The pop-up keeps flashing up every time I touch any part of my screen with my stylus....nevertheless, I finally got in to check my settings.

PetiteFlower is right. Open Pocket Inbox and DESELECT the option that has Inbox check for mail every so often. This is the option that is doing it. Drove me nuts for months! Left my PPC on and drained the battery causing at least 2 hard resets before someone turned me on to that.

I hadn't set the option, either, so go figure...

That sounds like a reasonable answer, but if this isn't the issue check other applications that require an internet connection. I had a similar problem with Journal Bar. I took it off of the cradle while it was downloading the weather or something. I was so annoyed that I ended up uninstalling it at work and never reinstalling it.
