I am getting a new pocket pc. I just can't decide which one.
I have always had products from HP, but I love the screen and styling of the Toshiba. What do you all think?

If I go for the 5555, I already have iPAQ accessories, and bluetooth to boot. I understand that WM2004 is supposed to support VGA, but would any of the current pda's screens display VGA? My guess is no. If this is the case I will likely go for the Toshi. 0hhhhhh.....I can't decide. Oh, I almost forgot, the HP is $50 more than the 805.

The only thing that has prevented me getting a 5555 has been the lack of built-in CF. Obviously you have the CF sleeve so you have that capability already. In your position I think I would stick with HP if I had to buy right now, even though that e805 screen is nice.

Since I don't have to buy now, I'm going to wait until next year and see what WM2004 devices arrive. Of the current PPCs only the e805 has a chance of being upgraded to WM2004 with VGA so no good upgrade options.

Urm current screens cant display VGA so they will remain QVGA if they were to be updated.

The Toshiba E800 has the best screen I have seen...Here are the specs from the Toshiba site.

No, the e805 has a full 480x640 display, as Vulcan implies. The ROM runs it in 240x320 mode by default, but there's freeware out there that reconfigures it so that WM2003 runs in 480x640; there are some small quirks but, from what I've heard, it runs surprisingly well.

I know that, that was in regard to his question of the other machines.
