Formatting Ipaq 1915

Pardon my ignorance, but I am new to PDA's. Is it possible to completely clear my Ipaq 1915 and bring it back to the way it was the day I bought it? If so how? Thanks in advance.

You need to Hard Reset it. With my Axim, you press the reset button and power button at the same time. There will be a similar procedure for your Ipaq.

This will clean everything out of your RAM. If your Ipaq has some ROM memory you can use and you have files in there, you'll have to delete those seperatly.

The Ipaq documention, or a fellow 1915 owner will be able to tell you exactly how to go about it.

For the 1915, I believe you have to hold the power button and hit the reset button at the same time. Don't let go yet. Wait for a few seconds and then release. You should see the white screen and a progress bar...
