I really like uBook as my primary ebook reader, especially since it handles most formats *and* opens zipped files.

The default skin kinda sucks, but there are some classy alternatives.

Now the main drawback, which I bet many uBook users may agree with me on, is that you can only have your last five read ebooks listed in the recent files list.

Anyone found a hack to increase this number?

Try changing the

MAX_FILES=5

setting in uBook.ini to a larger number? :-)

Thats the best thing about ubook.
Everything is configurable in the pure plain text configuation files.
Sure its a little more difficult to initially grasp for alot of people, but read the options and play with them and after a week you wont use anything else. 0X

I'd recommend the Glyphic skin. It dulls the "flashlight" effect, but doesn't go so far as to make contrast a problem, so it's easy to read with.
