My iPaq 5550 came with 5 iPaqChoice points that could be redeemed for a range of software from the iPaqChoice website.
I used 3 of them, but was left with 2 that I couldn't find anything much that I liked as most interesting software "cost" 3 points or more.
For December iPaqChoice have a promotion where they give you one extra point if you buy a PointPaq. So for GBP 9.95 I purchased a 3 point PointPaq and with the bonus point took my balance to 6 points. This lets me afford 2 3-point titles, which seems good value to me.
Other folks who have a small balance and see something on the iPaqChoice site that they want might find this a cheap way of obtaining some software (I got Links and Kasparov Chessmate for my 6 points) ...
