Well it looks as if you may have stumbled across a good deal. I would call them to confirm that it will work with your iPAQ and see if they will give you a guarantee that it will work by not charging you the 10% restocking fee if you have to return it.

the price there may be a bit higher but if you get the "refurb" kit, it includes some other stuff as well that you might as well go ahead and replace since you have it open.

I like that refurb kit, but it's a 1000mAh battery compared to 1500.

I have a 3650 so according to the description the 1500 should work. I just wonder if the charging circuit would recognize the extra 500mAh?

I bought a non-OEM battery for my Canon S45 digital camera for $14 (canon's is $60). It worked great for 1 or 2 chargings and now won't charge past 15-20% capacity. Basically useless. I won't ever buy an off-brand battery again.
