Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to tell the difference between a 1935 and 1940 or a 1945 by just looking at it, without taking off the casing and the battery to get to the model number? Is there a way to tell in the software anywhere which it is?

It should be in the Asset Viewer. Start/Settings, Tap the System tab, tap Asset Viewer, Expand System, and look at the Model ID field.

The major difference between theese two devices is bluetooth, so on the 1940/45 you should see a bluetooth-icon on the right-bottom corner of the today-screen. If the icon isn't there, you've got a 1930/35.
