View Full Version : Can't delete non-existent appointment

This is baffling me. Can anyone put me out of my misery please?

I have a recurring 'appointment' set up for every two weeks from 20th Sep 2003 for 20 events. It has a reminder of 30 mins before its 09:00 Start time, and has been working fine.

The next is due next Wed, 3rd Dec. Yet it appears on my Today screen *today*, 27th Nov, displayed by the Calendar plug-in. I use that as well as Agenda Fusion, as I like its summary ('61 Active Tasks;, etc). If I look at AF's calendar, in 'Today' view or Agenda or any view, the appointment is correctly *not* shown today.

I examined the Notification Database. There is an entry for 3rd Dec, but none for today. (While I was there I also found a duplicate entry for Valentines Day, which wasn't there last time I checked, so I deleted it. I mention it here to illustrate the confidence-unsettling quirks of this stuff...)

Obviously I've soft reset a few times. I've also tried removing the Calendar plug-in and re-loading it, but the mystery appointment is still there. Clearly it's hanging on in my Pocket Outlook database somewhere. Anyone know how can I get rid of it please? And any thoughts on how it might have arisen?

Thanks, but no. I have my share of alarm problems, but this is a different issue. Of course, they may share common causes, who knows?
