IPAQ 5500 Questions

I've got a couple of questions:
1. I've just got an Ipaq 5500 and every time I switch it on it switches off after 30-60sec. Nothing is lost, I go back to where I was....it is just annoying.
2. Anyone know how to rotate the screen so I can use landscape when I type documents.

1. Tap the Start menu and goto Settings > System > Power and adjust the settings.

2. You need third-party software :(

3. Read the instructions please. :D
