I've deleted the shorcuts for ActiveSync on my HP2210... Want to recreate a shortcut but I can't find the #@% executable for ActiveSync...

The target for my ActiveSync shortcut:

:MSSYNCAPP?repllog.exe /remote

HTH,

:MSSYNCAPP?repllog.exe /remote

Used this line to create a shortcut file... Didn't work... I've look at the structure of other shortcuts. Edited in notepad, I found only one line with different number at the start of it.
ie:
21#mstsc40.exe

is the shortcuts for Terminal Service Client.

Hmmm...

I created a shortcut using that line and it worked for me. Try this, copy a shortcut from another app, change the target, and try again...

Hi,
at my Computer the shortcut opens
"C:\Programme\Microsoft ActiveSync\WCESMgr.exe"
Maby the path differs, but the app should be the same.

I beamed the shortcut from a co-worker's PDA.

When I open the .lnk on my desktop (with notepad) this is what it says :

42#:MSSYNCAPP?\Windows\repllog.exe /remote

It's fixed now...
Thanks
