My HP2215 isn't being seen by my computer and autosync... Please Help!

Any suggestions?

It happens to me sometimes. Just reset your computer and try again.

I just tried another USB cable from my 2215 directly to my computor and the connection started flawlessly.

So apparently, my cradle connection is bad. I guess I need a new cradle?

Ok, final installment. I feel like an idiot, but here's what happened:

My wife plugged in her camera USB cable (also black) where my 2215 USB cable was and when she finish downloading her pics to the desktop, she didn't replace the cable. The camera plug end hung down below the desk, and I never knew that the cable was not my USB cable. After seeing this I plugged my cradle USB in and got autosync.

This is one of those silly simple things that I always thought was beneath my intelligence. WRONG!!!

If anybody finds this amusing, I will consider said amusement a positive thing to set against my previous frustration.

This is amusing in the same way that I've troubleshot network connectivity problems for hours before realizing that the cable wasn't plugged in securely....
