Please please pretty please tell me how to delete databases on my iPAQ. I've got a lot that I want to get rid of, including 11 from CashOrganizer - a program I deleted a week ago or so.

Also, does anyone know why my alarm has so many entries in the database? As soon as an alarm goes off, I get a huge list of "Wake Up!" when I only set the alarm once. Why are there so many of these notifications?

please!

A search for "delete database" turned up this thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=161995&highlight=delete+database#161995), which mentions software called dbView (http://www.ipaqsoft.net/php/trackclick.php?link=http://www.pocketpcsoft.net/zips/dbview.zip&id=299). There is also an app in the PHM Power Toys (http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/) package which allows you to view and delete databases.

Incidentally, if you look at the properties for the database I think you'll find that it's really quite small. The largest database on my iPAQ is the Appointments database which weighs in at about 110 KB. More than 80% of the other databases are just under 400 bytes each. This is not something to be concerned about. I mean, come on... three threads (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20623) about the same subject (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20588) is a little excessive.

Since this is a general discussion, I'm moving the thread...

I know that they don't take up much size, but I'm a clean freak, and to see things where they shouldn't be drives me bonkers. I also wanted to remedy the alarm, since I don't like seeing the same notification on the list 100 times.

Grrrr!

But I'll check those programs. Thanks
