<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://www.my-xda.com/keyboards.html' target='_blank'>http://www.my-xda.com/keyboards.html</a><br /><br /></div>Just a quick note to XDA II owners that are of the keyboarding persuasion: it looks like you'll be able to get a Think Outside Stowaway XT folding keyboard for your Pocket PC. It's always a mystery as to which devices will get a Stowaway XT keyboard, so XDA II owners should count themselves lucky!<br /><br /><img src="http://www.my-xda.com/product_shots/xda2_keyboard_small.jpg" /><br /><br />And remember, if you're eager to get your hands on the new XDA II, <a href="http://estore.shopplex.com/app/storefront.aspx?cat_id=290&inv_id=31112230446767&modid=30214092059015&aid=5">you can order one from our affiliate partner Tek 'n Toys</a>.

XDA IIs are all over the place. eBay has tons now, PPCW.Net sold out their first batch yesterday (of i-Mates.. same thing hardware-wise), but their second batch is twice as big.

This "preorder" doesn't even seem to have a price, availability date, etc.

Are we only going to be able to order this keyboard from O2's website, the prices of which are in £'s, or will US based distributers offer them (before the MDA II from T-Mobile hits the U.S..... whenever that may be)?

Thanks,

I thought that Canadian Dollar conversion was a bit on the pricey side at $1159.20, then again not as bad as trying to buy this is Venezuela at
1,357,933.58 VB - suddenly this feels easy to justify. :?

If only my brand new targus universal IR would work with my imate, it works fine with my old XDA running PPC2002! :(

The Tek n Toys link doesn't say that it is sim locked. I have to assume that it is, but does anyone know differently?

No, it's NOT SIM-locked - Tek 'n Toys sells non-SIM locked devices.

Brand new? Return it. Buy a wirless keyboard here:

http://www.moonlight-tech.com

It's cheaper, and I have confirmed with them that it works with the XDA II/i-Mate (with Pocket PC Phone Edition 2003).

I really like the Targus one, and from the looks of the one from moonlight-tech, it doesn't do much for me.

Targus has been pretty good in releasing new drivers, it seems, so I think I'll wait a bit. I have some friends who would be willing to pick up the keyboard should I not want it, so I'll just be patient for awhile.

Thanks for the link.

Jason, the major problem I see with Tek'n'Toys, is that they are selling MDA II, which is German. I have one (got it from gsmphonesource.com), and trying to find out how to properly dump rom from I-Mate (I have a friend who just got it) and deploy on MDA II.

Has anyone been successful on this?
