What do I do?

:oops: I have upgraded my ipaq 5450 to mobile 2003. ever since I am having the battery drained fast because connection manager which sits on the top panel besides volume control gets activated for no reason and keeps the ipaq "on power" until I manually dismiss the dialogue box "could not find the connection". This props up evry often and drains my battery and I do not even have a sound notification to check.

I do not know how to turn this off. Any help appreciated.

I upgraded my h5455 to WM2003 a few months ago and have never seen that problem. If you tap the wireless status icon, does a notification bubble pop up with a "Turn off wireless" link?

No I do not get such options. I tried soft resets but no avail. I do not know how to turn off that connection dialogue.
