New user, bought for GPRS usage, I have and use 2 x flash cards, no problems, I now have 2 x 128mb SD cards one is kingmax and the other is Pretec, problem, my iPAQ does not recognise either card, help required.

Are you pushing them all the way in? They will click a bit, and to get them out you need to push down a bit and they will click again and pop a little higher. Also the connectors go towards the back of the iPaq. you can read the card printing when looking at the screen and inserting. I'd have a hard time thnking you got a bad SD slot or two bad cards.

Cards came from different company and also two different types of card, you are probably right about the bad SD slot, will contact HP, the unit is only 1 month old.

I had the same problem when I first used a 256K card in my Ipaq Thought it was a bad card. I downloaded a pocket PC Card formatting program, did that and bingo! the card worked!! Hope this helps you
