How can you remove the border in pocket excel files when you transfer to your desktop?

tap and hold, select Format Cells and goto Borders.

If you are wanting to make the liqht qrey lines go away, I do not think you can.

What I mean is when I have a pocket excel file and use active sync to transfer to desktop, when I open the file in excel and print it, all the cells have borders and I can't remove them through format cell option.

your problem has nothing to do with pocket pc. on your desktop, go to Excel. File > Page Setup > Sheet > make sure Print Gridlines is not checked.
