Ok, I've realized that I have friends in no places worldwide, and if I did have some key ones in say Dubai or even England, they could procure me an XDA II and I would pay them directly, with some sum as compensation for the legwork.
So my request is - anyone who can get an i-mate or XDA II from O2 (unlocked from O2, so you'd have to get the sim unlock code which wouldn't be a problem (hopefully) if buying without a contract)? I'd very much appreciate it now that I've heard reports that T-Mobile doesn't plan on selling the MDA II in the US.
