(Not re the front page post by Janak.....)

One of the things that most impressed me many moons ago was when I turned on my PC and for the first time it said "Automatically Adjusted your time..." etc .... and then my PPC did the same !

Now, weirdly, we just did the DST thing this past weekend. and none of my pc's did it - not laptops, nor desktops, nor ppcs!?? Bit upsetting actually - I do love it when the PC does something overtly 'smart' :!:

All are set as usual, no changes have (in some cases, ever) been made, yet still no auto change this year?

Very weird. Any thoughts from anyone? Is it possible that it/they didn't know?

How do they know anyway??

Is the date set so well in advance that the pc's know already?

An online thing?

Check your time zones. I think the computer and ppc look at the time zone since some places don't have DST (e.g.,Arizona, Indiana, other countries). So perhaps, you've set yourself in an area without DST.
