My 1940 just up and died on me. I've only had it for three and a half weeks. I noticed that the BT icon down in the tray looked odd, so I did a soft reset. BT icon was now gone. Another soft reset, still gone. I went into the connections settings and no BT icon was visible. I opened tasks and selected send via BT, got an error message. Did a back up and Hard Reset, got another error message, " 'BTTrayCE' is not a valid Pocket PC application." and it is locked. Another hard reset, same thing. I now have a $300 paperweight sitting on my desk. Luckily, I'm within the return period, I called the store and they said they would take it back. So, do I roll the dice with another one or go for the larger 2215? Too bad the 4150s aren't in stock yet.

Did you try to do a backup to the Safe Store? This is an apparent issue with the 1940s. :| Don't backup to the Safe Store, and BT should be OK.

the 1940/45 is a good device. I have a 1945 and like it a lot. the 2200's have both SD and CF slots, and have a different processor. Its a completely different device, with a different form factor.

If you're thinking of the 4100, then you might want the 2200 so that if you insert a Wi-Fi card, you still have an available card slot (if you can't or don't want to wait for the 4100 to come into stock.)

Hope this helps!
