Anyone else got this. I have a 3950 with WM2003 and it keeps trying to connect to the internet every hour or so. The little connection icon appears saying it cannot connect.

Anyone know what could be causing this? Installed I have

HP Mobile printing
Storage Tools
XTND Connect PC
Adobe Acrobat
Symantec Liveupdate
Symantec AV
Battery Pack
eWallet
Resco Explorer
MS Money
Pocket Hack Master
PocketMVP
Sprite Pocket Backup
WisBar Advance

Go to on your PPC programs/active sync/tools and make sure the box for Use mobile shedule is unchecked. Go to Active Sync desktop/options/schedule and under Wireless schedule set to manually. Worked for me.

Is PocketOutlook configured to check your email at that interval?

This is caused by Inbox. I had the same problem. I was losing battery power because Inbox kept turning on the unit to check mail, too.

Go into Inbox and uncheck the option to check mail every X minutes. That will stop this dialog bubble from popping up.

Kind Regards,

Oops. I meant Pocket Inbox, but it looks like Chris Spera had the same thinking I did.

1. Run Pocket Inbox
2. Select Accounts
3. Click on Accounts...
4. Select an email account
5. On Page 4/4, click on Options.
6. On Options (1/3), make sure you uncheck 'Connect and check messages every:' or just increase the polling interval.
