Thanks for the pic JohnJohn. HP isn't big on descriptions are they? :?
I want to know if it has its own battery, if the backlight is white or blue (its a girl thing :D ) if it's comfy to hold and if it feels secure in the hand. Doesn't look like it adds much length as it covers the original buttons. It isn't as pretty as the Jornada thumboard. I wonder how gaming is?

Oh another thought... I wonder if it will attach with my 2215 in the sena case?

A 2215 with this keypad seems to me to be a much nicer solution than buying that ugly HP thingy with the keypad glued on the end.

I wonder if HP are going to continue with the 2xxx platform and add goodies such as WiFi and more memory? Would be a much more tempting option for me than their SD only models.

I'm on my second 2215. I am hoping not to have the pealing grips issue with this unit. If I do I will get a 41xx and this keyboard. I will be a heavy keyboard user...but it will be nice to be able to remove it.

JohnJohn, I noticed in your sig that you have the 2215 and a S56. Do you use these two together and if so, how has it been working?
I just purchased a 2215 and a unlocked S56 to use together so I can surf the net via Thunderhawk. Thanks

I bought a Blackberry 7210 to replace the S56. The S56 was the best cell phone I ever owned! The bluetooth was flawless. I loved it. The beautiful bride is using it now.
