I'm checking out puretracks.com (kinda the Canadian version of itunes for windows) and it says I can download to a portable device if it is Digital Rights Management compatable.
I'm using wm9 for ppc. Is this compatable? Has anyone tried puretracks yet?

wm9 is DRM compatible, i haven't tried puretracks but i have tried several DRM music files and if copied across using windows media player on your computer they should work fine

now it makes sense... I should have thought of that i.e. use Windows Media player to copy the files over. Thanks for the help.

I have found that I can't transfer a file with DRM to either my Compact Flash or my SD card (Which is what I thought the SD was for.) The only way I can get my purchased tracks to my cards is to burn them to CD and then rip them again since that takes the DRM out of the songs.

I can actually copy to my CF card but not the SD.

Hey Doogald,
Are you copying tracks you have purchased? Where did you buy them, what kind of DRM restricitons do they have?
