Amplifying on those two questions:
1. I want to set up the most effective layout. First, am I right that I need to use both the 'Start' area to bring up the original Start Menu and the left corner icon to get SmallMenu's special menu? For example, if I want Settings, I'd choose the former, because it can't be placed in SmallMenu's menu.

What about accessing all my programs, for example to browse them? I could use the original Start Menu. Or I could use the SmallMenu menu, and customise it as I've done here by adding the top entry 'Programs-ALL'.

2. In that later case, I'm not sure I've done this correctly. I added a shortcut to the customised menu \Windows\Start Menu\Programs. It does work, bringing up a cascading menu. But how do I get a nicer looking icon? I'd settle for the same yellow folder type, but ideally I'd like to have something a bit more distinctive - but not that 'shortcut type' I'm getting.

Using iPAQ 2210 with WM2003.
