unless you have a 4.7 gb flash card it aint gonna fit.
You have to rip and encode them so they will fit.
Cant find the program's site fast enough, so I dont know what codecs it supports. most of the techniques and tools for divx and dvd-rip can be found on www.doom9.org. I dont think there is a pocket pc section, but just play around with the encoding quality I guess.
I just use the Media Encoder (9) together with media player for encoding the movies I already converted to Divx and Xvid.
If you already have the 700 mb's of XVID or DIVX avi's, the proces is simple. If you have the codecs installed, meaning you can view the movies on your desktop pc, just open media encoder, select convert file and go from there. My movies are encoded so they fit on a 128 mb card, and usualy settings for widescreen dvd's are 80-100 kbs for video and I select 16kbs 22khz mono for the audio (properties screen, sources tab, after you went through the wizard for conversion (uncheck START ENCODING WHEN I CLICK FINISH)
if you want better quality, play around with the settings

this threat might help

To get the files to the pocketpc, just copy the file onto a flashcard (disable virusscanner to speed up, put the card in a reader instead of the pda to speed up even more)

I have a website with step by step guides from ripping your DVD to Encoding it for PocketPC. Plus links to the tools needed and some sample video done at my specs. to show what quality to expect. My site is at www.bigdsvideo.com
