Question on CF card purchase

I'm all set topurchase a CF card for my e755. I'm thinking of getting either a 256 or 512 MB Viking card. (8X) Are there any compatibility issues with either this brand or these sizes?

i have an e755 as well and i bought this cfcard

it is a 512mb and was $99.50 and it works great. i have had no problems with it at all. it's fast enough for me. i run all my games/movies/mp3s/books on it. all of those open and play fine, and they all save fine.

before i got this card. i backed up my data onto the flash rom which is built in, and that took about 10 minutes. when i got the cf card, the data backup too 2 minutes. so it is much much faster than the flash rom.

I don't remember hearing of any problems with Viking cards. I use one (512MB) myself without trouble.

I just got my Viking 512 MB card from Amazon. Everything works all right, although the write speed seems to be quite a bit slower than my SimpleTech 128MB CF card... I'm not sure if this is "normal" or not. But the price was definitely right...

I'm writing through a PCMCIA to CF adapter on my laptop.
