WLAN update for iPAQ 5555

Has anyone installed the WLAN update for the 5555 on the page below? There are a few other updates on that page as well. If so what was the result?

I installed it but then I took it off. I noticed the connection was better but I've also noticed that my ipaq ran slower with the update installed and I had other problems with connecting to different access points. I'm not sure if anyone else has been having these problems but I also did a hard reset and started from scratch and as soon as I applied the update my 5555 started running slow.
