Sandisk Connect Plus slow file transfer? [Archive]

Hi All,

I just got a Sandisk Connect Plus wifi/memory card and have noticed an odd quirk. The transfer rate for the memory portion of the device is exceptionally slow. I copied over ~20 MB of data to it (using a 6-in-1 card reader) and it took ~35 minutes... way longer than it should

Has anyone else had similar problems with this device?

I just got my Connect Plus a couple of days ago. I have not tried to use the memory to any extent as of yet. However I am beginning to wonder if the problem extends to any data transfer through the card as my wireless lan connection seems to be a little mushy. I used Compaq's 11Mbps Wireless LAN card and the WL110,before upgrading to Windows Mobile 2003; apparently those cards cannot be used with the new operating system (apparently no hope of every seeing any since there has been no announcement from HP that a problem might exist).
