I'm not a "Snails master" or anything, but does anyone with a wireless PPC want to play?

If I ever get my wireless router installed again, I am right there with ya. I'll shoot to have it done next weekend.

Sounds like a great idea! We could have a thread posting results and a leader board, or we could all just log on at once.

I'm in Wisconsin, which is -6 (Central Time).

By the way, if you're a subscriber you get a free copy of any PDAMill app, including Snails!

If we could get a game like this going, I'd reinstall Snails. (The down side, of course, being that I'd have to go through and beat the game again in single player so I've got access to all the cool weapons to kick your butts with. ;))

Got home 10 minutes late, tried looking for a game and starting one.

Didn't find anyone.

This CAN work, right?

Maybe we better set up another time. And designate who is hosting.

So did this ever work out? I just started playing Snails, and I really like it... I'd love to challenge someone, although I'm not good at it at all.

I think I was confused -- you need to be on the same LAN.

But's it's really fun with wifi!

No, you can play via the Internet; you just can't be behind a NAT device such as a router. (i.e., the Pocket PC must be directly connected to the Internet.) Assuming you access the 'net from your Pocket PC wirelessly, you might be able to get around this by setting your Pocket PC's IP to be the "DMZ" host in your router. Note that I've never tried this myself, so it's pure speculation. :)

Aww.. that stinks.. It would have been fun to play. :)

I've never had luck putting my IPs the the DMZ. My "el cheapo" router doens't make it easy.

I am on GMT+7.

Sorry man I'm GMT-9. Maybe when your on early and I have insomnia we could pull it off.
